"Tom & I thoroughly enjoyed TT's & have continued using the songs long after we had left the class. I can safely say that TT was the highlight of the week for both of us & Nancy's cakes were an added bonus!" DG
"It's really something to get an active 2 year old boy to enjoy and participate in any class such as this, but Ben still sings the songs now. For me, the difference was the opportunity to mix with the other parents after the class, I have made friends who I still see now (and the fabulous cakes of course)" AJ
“We ‘shopped around’ when looking for music classes/activities when my son, Darragh, was about two. We tried at least three different ones, but it was ‘Tadpole Tunes with Nancy’ that Darragh said were his favourite time and time again. The classes were incredibly fun and as they were in Nancy’s home, were in a cozy and safe atmosphere. The use of music including old favourites as well as Nancy’s own compositions gave a great mix. The children and adults built friendships over time and I was really sad to leave when Darragh outgrew it. I can’t wait to begin again with my daughter, Finola, later in the year.” – Heather Thacker
"Tadpole Tunes is such an enjoyable music class. A relaxed atmosphere - with an educational theme thoroughly enjoyed by children and adults. My daughter loved it from as young as nine months." CM
"I've been bringing Gracie since she was 8 months old and have seen the difference it's made with her confidence and musical abilities already!"
"Music, singing, fun and cake. What more do you need." DG
"Tadpole tunes is a really good fun music group and my daughter loved going to the classes, all the songs and the funky dancing. I enjoyed being able to get to know the other parents and the yummy cakes afterwards." AC
"I have been bringing Rosie to Tadpole Tunes since she was 9 months old (she's now 2) and it's always the highlight of our week. Apart from the brilliant music and of course the cakes, we both enjoy the social aspect too. Learning to share, take turns, and concentrate on the group leader's instructions have also been valuable experiences. And the fact that it's in someone's home makes it that much more cosy and easy to relax. Rosie gets really excited when I tell her it's a TT day!"
"Both my children loved going to Tadpole Tunes - the singing, dancing and musical instruments as well as the opportunity to play with other children after the class. William still sings the songs and we stopped going more than a year ago. It's great to get a chance to chat with the other parents too, rather than being rushed out as soon as the class is over, as happens at other music classes we've been to."
"Great fun music class, really relaxed as held in living rooms, not draughty church halls! My son really loves joining in and has really gained in confidence." HS
"If you are not a fan of whiffy village halls and churches you will love going to Tadpole Tunes! I go with my two (relatively short age gap) and find this group easy to manage unlike some other groups. It's fun for children and adults alike, has structure without being overly rigid, and all the children genuinely have a good time. My son who is extremely shy and wouldn't even let me put him down and would not make eye contact with anyone for at least two terms is now participating in the group really well! There are some people who have been going for years which proves how popular the group is. Well done Nancy you have managed to strike a really good balance of fun, learning and play with the added bonus of cakes for the adults." K DP
"My one year old son and I both love Tadpole Tunes. For us it stands apart from the other music classes on offer because it has the intimacy of being a smaller group and in the more personal setting of someones home. It's also not about being just a music class, it has taught my son to share and interact with his peers and to listen to instructions from the group leader. It also gives me the chance to meet other parents and have a slice of homemade cake. What more can you ask for?" S.G
