Nancy Cushing - Founder
Nancy Cushing is a professionally trained musician, having gained a first class honours music performance degree at Birmingham Conservatoire on the saxophone and working freelance for two years afterwards in numerous jazz bands, orchestras and studio recordings. Nancy then trained as a secondary classroom music teacher and has taught in both secondary and primary schools for the last five years. Nancy currently works for Suffolk County Music Service teaching part-time in local primary schools and woodwind teaching and holds a current CRB check. As Nancy had three young children of her own she felt the time was right to start up her own music group to fit in with family life.
Kirsty Pout
Kirsty Pout is a classroom teacher and has taught up to Deputy Head level in primary schools for over 10 years. She has particular experience in working with the Early Years. Kirsty completed her first degree at Leeds University and a Post Graduate qualification in Canterbury. She now teaches part-time in local primary schools and is fully CRB checked. She has a background in music and has sung with a number of large and small choirs. She currently sings with the Bury Bach Choir. With two young children of her own, Kirsty felt that the time was right to join Nancy and to run her own music group to fit in with family life.
